am driving myself crazy. it's been a rough day and i signed in because i really wanted to whine and bitch and moan and groan about all the crappy moments in my day (and there were hella lot too). But when i sat down, i just didn't feel like giving life to it. takes too much energy and i bees tired.
so instead, i'll wax eloquent about a few things that made me smile today and make ya roll your eyes the way ya do when i'm all sappy and sweet. i had bus duty today (i love bus duty. no. really. i do. not being facetious at all.) so anyway, the first thing i noticed was the air was perfect- crisp and cool with a hint of warmth in the sunshine. the second thing i noticed before the lil sleepy-eyed kids came tumblin off the bus was the way that sun gilded the trees above me. like, literally, it stole my breath. so beautiful and golden. i stood there with the wind drying my hair and taking it all in. what a way to start a day, ya know? was just wow.
one of the biggest pains in our asses on my team came up to me today before prime time and said i promise i'm gonna be good all day. i'm not gonna get in any trouble at all and i'm gonna be in your class today. and ya know what? he made good on that promise. that makes me very happy.
am thinkin it's a mighty good day to crack open a lil coke zero with a splash of gentleman jack. i'm thinkin the kind sir might know how to smooth a few edges.
well, i'm off to get things done
