So that site i found (it's my day in library so i have some pc time finally).... there's a little link to a cute lil thing called the karma cabin. http://thingstobehappyabout.com/books/instant-karma.php

What i found were some things i really liked...
  • be comfortable with contradictory ideas in your mind
  • burn candles
  • harmonize your actions with the way life really is
  • clear out files seasonally
  • make lots of good changes
  • cut toxic people out of your life
  • be aware of life's possibilities
  • stay centered or return to your center
  • ask, "What is the best that could happen?"
  • take a nap every Sunday
  • know that every right implies a responsibility
  • learn about other cultures
  • read the wisdom of Winnie the Pooh to children
  • when you ask people how they are, really listen to the response
I'm curious about being comfortable with contradictory ideas in my mind. I sometimes do have those contradictions; at times, i feel like a walking oxymoron. i wonder how you come to find a comfort zone in the midst of contradiction. it's something i'd like to explore.

The whole cutting toxic people out of your life...it sounds cold; it sounds harsh. but ya know what? i think it's a very, very necessary step. i've done it here and there along the way and it's actually not all that difficult. i found that you have to surround yourself with what ya need and toxic peeps are detrimental to the health. i spent an entire year learning to let go and sometimes you have to let go of material things and other times it's peeps. either way, shedding old skin, losing excess baggage, cutting loose pain--- it can only improve your life.

know that every right implies a responsibility. ummm, that's gonna be a long post another time- will be on a soap box for that one
